Celebrating Community Leadership at the 2025 YWCA Cambridge Women of Distinction Awards

I am deeply honoured to share that I have been nominated for the 2025 YWCA Cambridge Women of Distinction Awards. This recognition celebrates my work in breast cancer advocacy, supporting women in construction, and championing small local businesses. Being acknowledged alongside other inspiring community leaders is both humbling and energizing.

The Women of Distinction Awards, hosted by YWCA Cambridge, shine a light on individuals who drive positive change in our community. This year's gala will take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Whistle Bear Golf Club. The evening promises inspiration and fun, including special musical guests, a silent auction, a photobooth, and networking opportunities.

Tickets are on sale now, with early bird pricing available until May 7, 2025.

All proceeds support YWCA Cambridge’s free, community-based programming for women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals, including Cambridge’s first women’s emergency homeless shelter, which opened at the end of 2024.
